SAM CARTER
Founder and Principal
Mr. Carter has over a 15 years of experience in novel aircraft design, prototype software and hardware development, and UAS flight test. Sam's expertise includes program management, long endurance UAS design, carbon-composite modelling and simulation, design for manufacturing and direct fabrication. Most recently he was the Principal Engineer for the U.S Naval Research Laboratories Hybrid Tiger, the worlds longest endurance unmanned aerial vehicle under 55lbs. Day to day responsibilities included design and fabrication of lightweight composite structures, design, integration and testing of complex, novel DC circuits and wind tunnel testing of experimental drive trains. Flight testing of the entire system was conducted in remote locations, operating out of a small box trailer with limited tools, equipment and manpower.

KENNY BOOTHE
Senior Engineer
Mr. Boothe is a world-renowned expert in autonomous control systems, air-to-air refueling and morphing aircraft. He has developed flight control software for experimental UAVs as well as developed and tested autopilots including hardware, software, and sensor fusion algorithms. He has extensive subsonic wind tunnel and flight test experience. At Carter Composites, Mr. Boothe is responsible for overseeing vehicle autopilot development and integration, along with managing custom aircraft design projects.
